Hello guys!

Got 3 baby Uccle on Sunday. They are ~2 weeks old.
I noticed yesterday night (Monday) that one of them has a wet butt.

It's not the smallest of the batch nor the biggest.
Eat, drink, snuggle with the others.
The 2 others are fine.

I saw all 3 poop this morning. No diarrhea with any of them.
No hard poop of pasty butt

They have electrolyte, medicated food (for coccidiosis) and probiotic.

Any idea?

(It didn't fell into the water dish)

I saw a couple of post about vent gleet, but at that age I found this very unlikely.

They are on a pee pad at the moment
Were on pine shaving at the breeder.
They are inside.

I'm waiting an answer from the breeder.

Hoping someone has a clue regarding this.

Can you post a photo?

The usual cause of odd looking vent at this age is omphalitis, an infection of the abdomen left over from hatching. (Bacteria entered the abdominal cavity as the egg yolk was absorbed through the opened naval).

If omphalitis, antibiotics are in order.

Hard to tell without seeing vent.
