In the Brooder
Soo..I have four 2 week old chicks right now. They are starting to feather out pretty good. I will attach pictures.. My husband made this kiddy pool brooder (out of the smallest pool size) the other day because they are out growing their tote brooder.. it has a top and bottom and a square cut out filled with wire. I have it on my carport right now. The weather is suppose to be getting down in the low 30s at night the next few nights..will they be ok on my carport as long as they have their heat lamp? I have a red bulb clip lamp. If it will still be to cold for them I can move them to their smaller brooder in an outdoor closet until it warms up some.. I just rather give them more room and not have to move them back and forth from brooder to brooder. What do you think?
(I have 5 other full grown chickens but they were 6 weeks old when I first got them..2 week old chic are all new to me)
