i have 4 rir 2 week old chicks i am feeding them chick crumbs now . What food is next grit pellets ect ?

If you are feeding them starter/grower, you can keep that up until they are around 18 weeks or close to laying and then switch to layer feed. Grit should be given if you are giving them "treats" for which they would need "teeth." You can give oyster shell for extra calcium AFTER they start laying. Hope that helps.

ok so should i start on grower now instead of crumbs?

Does your chick feed say that it is a starter/grower feed, or does it just say starter? I used Purina start AND grow crumbles up to about 18 weeks. It's kind of a both in one deal.
