Building up the crew with leghorns as they are good layers I've also purchased wyandottes and Plymouth rocks to mate with the leghorns so hopefully their offspring will be good layers and also sit on their eggs , I've also purchased 6 silkie eggs these I will use when they go broody and sneak some other eggs underneath, I'm building a new farm with many chicken coops and a pond for ducks

Hope you get a broody soon,
Purchased eggs are already somewhat older, to begin with. (unless you purchased from neighbor)
Success with eggs older than 3 weeks after laying,,,,,, gets mity slim.
Your Silkies should be good broody mamas, :thumbsup

WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and :welcome
