hello, we have peahens setting and don't want more peafowl, trying to keep the population down. someone we know wants to have the eggs to incubate and hatch. wondering if it is too late to transport the eggs, we are thinking the hen has been setting for around 2 weeks, so are they too developed at this point to transport? we don't have an incubator. not sure if this will be pointless or can the eggs survive to their next destination. thank you.

I wouldn't do that! Usually after 1 hour they will die, more than that you are better off leaving the hens hatch the eggs and then give her the chicks!

ok, i didn't want to put the peahen through the separation of her chicks after all her work laying, and most importantly we need to get her out of danger as she is out on the property (we keep our peafowl wild).
