2 wk olds ok to have some outside play time?

My fuzzies hatched on the 1st...and i'm wondering if i keep a close eye, can i put the cage (bottom off of it) out in the grass so they can enjoy the grass and buggies.....OR is still TOO soon???????????

So long as it's warm enough, let them out! They'll enjoy the open air, grass, etc.

Given the time of year - I'm guessing it's warm enough.

With birds this young, though, I always keep them covered to prevent hawks from swooping in on them.

yea, it actually get VERY hot right now...heat index about 102 today. so I was just going to let them out for a short period. And, of course keep them safe too

They'll love it! I might wait til this evening when it isn't so very hot....thanks

Mine are in a dog crate and I put it outside and slide the bottom plastic piece out so they can enjoy the grass..I had to cover the sides as they were small enough to slip through at the bottom. Also I part of the top with a small piece of plywood so they had a shady area as well..
