2" ww + cw?!

Any opinions (who am I kidding? ) on whether 2x2" welded wire lined with chicken wire would be sufficient for a secondary/daytime run?? We've got a 1/2"hc run for when they're not supervised... I'm unsure the gauge of the welded wire though...

We live on 6.5 rocky/wooded acres, so predators are abundant... but are kept at bay during the day by 2 dogs, and 4 loud kids

This is during supervised outdoor time? I dont see the harm. Except if you decide to leave to run errands and forget to put the chickens back into their secure run or something similar? I mean we take chances with any set up as none are 100% predator proof.

The chicken wire will keep the chickens from poking their head out and the 2x2 welded wire fence will keep anything but a weasel out. It takes a raccoon or bigger to tear the chicken wire apart.
