2 year old hens not laying eggs????

I'm having a no egg laying issue too. I have two Jersey Giants, two Welsummers and one Buff Orpington. Three got broody, then got over it, thought it could be mites or lice but not the case, and now all quit laying. They are fine health wise so I can't figure it out. I have a rodent issue at night and I'm rescreening with hardware cloth wondering if its stress from the heat and rodents at night. I can't figure it out. Its been like August here lately with close to 100 degree feels like temps and humidity, so ??? Looking for insight but can't find the answer. My buff orpington was the only one laying and even she has stopped. They are healthy otherwise. One of the welsummers just molted which I thought was odd since its spring. They are all 15 months old. Please let me know if you find any answers. Good luck!
They are so pretty! I hope mine grow up to as pretty as yours!

I will let you know when I'm done re-fencing, and getting a higher protein mix going. I really don't think its their food since I'm mixing it myself. I tend to believe its the rat issue. Creeped even me out the first time I went into the coop at midnight and saw them all scurrying and climbing the chicken wire to escape. Rodent proofing is really important for both stress reasons and disease, mite, etc. Even wild birds can introduce lice. I don't put any food in the their house at all...they have to come out of the house to get water. And I have to change water every morning due to finding droppings in the waterers...and its so hot, algae grows fast and that's not good for them either.

I'm back and here is an article on reasons they'll stop laying...
https://www.chickensandmore.com/chicken-stopped-laying-eggs/#4_Dehydration

I think for mine it could be one of three reasons. Its horridly hot and humid here in SE FL right now, I have a rat issue at night, and I switched feeds....will be getting them a higher protein feed today and I'm working on making the coop area rat proof...(hardware cloth is the only thing that will keep them out). I had used 1" chicken wire and it was a waste of money. Rats and iguanas find a way through it. Has to be 19 guage hardware cloth. Hope we both find the answer soon and this helps you somewhat.
What brand of food are you using and where do you buy it? I have had hens for 10 years and never had this issue. I’m beginning to suspect some conspiracy theories now.

Goldie one of my girls has died since i first posted this. The other girl Clair still has not laid an egg since I 1st posted this so since April. They were on Nutrena NatureWise 16% protein but I switched them to Nutrena All Flock 20 % protein with eggs shells and oyster shells free choice. I only give meal worms once a week and they free to run around our back yard in the afternoon. The one girl Clair that has still not laid an egg since my 1st post. She is eating and drinking fine is in the middle of the pecking order. Just don't know why she has stopped laying eggs....

I’m sorry to hear about Goldie. So sad to lose one of our hens. I am constantly asking around, to no avail. We have changed feed from Dumoor to Nutra- something. Every day its one egg, thin shell and its broken in the box. I am close to changing out these hens, but am afraid unless I know what is causing it, it will happen again.

Your post sadly, gave me some hope that its not just me.
