2 year old Pekin females

I am thinking about buying 3 pekin females for an individual. I am told they are 2 yrs old. How long do they lay eggs?? Are these girls too old now to be effective layers?? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

My Pekin Duck is nearly three years old.. And she has been laying since August- She has gone broody a few times- But didnt sit for more than two weeks.... After each time she was back laying within a week.

Two years old doesn't seem old at all. I have read that ducks can live 10-12 years, so at 2, I would think they are plenty young enough to be good layers.

my 7 yo pekin female still lays although they are infrequent and deformed. she layed 2-3x week until she was 4 or so then it quit over the winter.
