We Alaskans LOVE the summers up here, and that is why the majority of us tolerate our LOOOOOONG, cold, DARK winters. But here is my problem; we have SO MUCH sunlight this time of year - the day after tomorrow (June 21st) is the summer solstice and we have pretty much 24 hours of sunlight - my chickens are getting wired out, I think... and will not go into the coop to go to "sleep" at night.
Is there a way to get them to go into their coop? I am trying to get them put up for the night and they are all outside ready to keep partying... I have been bribing them with treats to get them inside, but that did not work last night. They would rather stay up in the beautiful sunshine! Any tips or tricks anyone could suggest would be greatly appreciated!!
