Set 6 eggs under daisy, who has gone broody....again!

At least she's less time consuming than an incubator, she regulates temp and humidity.

Don't you love this 21 day rollercoaster ride? Hope it goes well with your hen's hatch.

Yes, the rollercoaster ride, although it's not as bad with a broody hen as you don't have watch it so much and turn eggs etc...she does it all.

Here she is...

She's still in the nesting boxes in the coup, as Chicken Little still has the 10 chicks in the brooder box and run. on around day 18 the chicks will be 6 weks old, so hopefully they should be able to go into the main coup, and I'll shift Daisy into the brooder box.

She looks seriously cranky, LOL! I also prefer a broody hen, if I can convince one to give up a couple months of her life!
