My Sussex flock is from Paul Bradshaw's stock ( Green Fire Farms). My Light Sussex rooster, Winston, is a real gentleman and has a very sweet, layed back personality. He is very protective over his 'gals, but has never tryed to flog me. They all come running when I walk out the door, with or without treats! They free range every, or every other day, depending on which day I let my layer flock out. I have never hatched a rooster from Winston, every chick I've hatched from him has been a gorgeous pullet. He must really not want any competition with the ladies!!
There is no prettier sight then seeing these gorgeous chickens strutting around the ranch! I know you will enjoy these chickens as much as I have.
