I have yet to meet a nice rooster. Sure hope this one is not going to be a jerk. . So far whatever read about Buff Brahma roosters is encouraging.

Our rooster is nice! He's a Cochin/Ameraucana mix.

A lot of roosters can be very sweet. I've found that roosters raised by older hens or older roosters are better behaved than roosters who have no adult chicken guidance.

A rooster's temperament towards humans has to do with how people treat them as well.
