22 week egger laying question.

Is it normal for an egger to lay 2 eggs a day? Our 22 week easter egger is laying almost every day. Most of the time we are getting one good egg and one with a soft shell. Usually we find the eaten remains in the morning. I installed a poop board yesterday and finally got to see what she is laying. We have gotten 2 double yokes also. She has been laying for 12 days.

It can take a while for production to even out. Hopefully things will settle down for her.

I don't know about EE specifically but when my RIR's started laying for about the first month or so I had lots of double yolkers, some soft shells and I had a few that layed very early in the morning then much later the same day a few times. Their egg laying should even out.
