Chirping
So pretty sure one of my 22 week hens went broody. She is an Old English Banty who no longer will stay with my mixed flock (3 seabrights, one rooster, 3 glw, 2 ee, and 1 supposed ee who I'm pretty sure is laying a brown egg). She sits on her "clutch" of eggs and leaves maybe 2 to 3 times a day. Poofs up and gets squaky when you go in to chevk on her.
Behavior has been going on for 3 or 4 days. She has continued laying eggs for the last week until today. She only missed 2 other days since she started laying over 2 weeks ago (13eggs/15days).
All my eggs are still tiny being only 3 weeks or less of laying my seabrights and ee aren't even laying yet so while I'd love broody behavior later now seems inopportune.
Will she go broody again if I don't let her hatch chicks now?
Also can my Banty Rooster even "reach"/ create fertile eggs with my standard hens? I'd be happy to let her try a standard egg or two but I don't need a whole herd of bantys...
Pictures are of Sparrow, Hei Hei, and eggs (Sparrow left, Wyandottes/Possible EE)
