I have 11 red variety production red red Rhode Island red and isa Brown Chicks they are starting to lay at least one of them is and the rest have not yet I can see that their Combs are growing and I think it'll be soon but I'm getting antsy I'm going to post some pictures here and I'd appreciate some feedback as to how you guys see these coming along, thank you. Here is the one laying.

Just so you know a mostly closed in space gives them the privacy they like , even a milk crate or a box on its side is good.

They look good , young production reds lay daily for a year or so .

I bet the first picture is the one laying , she has a nice big comb
 
I'll get a different nesting box. Would you happen to know or recommend incubating their eggs. That big come is a give away right. A few others are starting to look the same so hopefully any day now
 
I wouldn’t hatch these eggs , if they are sex links you won’t get the same breed from eggs .

I know what you mean I've read up on how sex links are made and how the off spring won't sex by color, however I'm going for barn yard mix so it adds to the fun what would the off springs be? Other than not color sexed
 
Another one started laying today, that makes 2 out of 11. I didn't catch who layed it but they are coming along.
