I started with 12 chickens back about 7 years ago. I have since picked up 4 more and then another 10 about 2 years ago. I started this because my husband was eating so many eggs. The first thing we discovered was that these eggs were good for him and his cholesterol. What we didn't expect was that he would become allergic to eggs. So now I have two coops, a two part run and many little feather friends running in their yard. My friends appreciate that my husband doesn't eat the eggs because they get free cartons regularly.
