Firstly, the forum looks great, very busy and lots of useful information.

Secondly, due to living in the wilds of Thailand's North East, with a neighbour who owns several billion chickens and roosters which he allows to roam, scratch and generally be darn irritating, around the area which includes my garden and indeed house; I have adopted a rather bias attitude towards the feathered darn.

Chickens, for me, are at their zenith after they have spent 4 hours on a low to moderate heat in a Bosch and Siemens oven, accompanied with an assortment of vegetables and a good smattering of roast potatoes. In short..DEAD!

A few mornings back, I woke up for my usual 7am bowel movement and having to bypass the kitchen to arrive at the porcelain, was greeted by a somewhat rebellious young rooster, pecking away at the rice cooker. Upon seeing me, the little darn literally shat himself all over my kitchen worktop before fleeing out of the window..you little jerk!!

Sorry, I seem to have digressed from the subject matter which I came here to discuss.

Now, coming from the relative civilistation that is North-West Europe, the roosters and chickens tended to be of the stiff-upper lip persuasion, and doing things properly. The Golden Cockerel does indeed crow in the morning..just a couple of times, to welcome the day..but HERE, HERE, the darn bastards are in a perpetual state of squawking..as in, THEY JUST WON'T darn STOP, EVER, unless you chase them with an axe around the farmyard, during which, the darn are reduced to a series of concerned clucks.

So, the question I pose to you is simply..does anyone know of any mass extermination methods that can effectively be used on poultry?

Thanks in advance.
