24% Protein

I have temporarily moved my 3 week old Ameraucana chicks in with some 2 week old Bourbon Red Turkey poults. My question is is it ok to give the chicks 24% protein feed like I have been giving the poults?

They'll be fine if it's only temporary. I feed my chicks in the 22-24% range until they are between three to four months old then I back off to about 20% to give their reproductive systems time to catch up to the rest of their bodies before they begin to lay at about five months.
