24 week Dom's and barred rocks

Chickens lay when they are ready to lay. Trying to rush Mother Nature just adds frustration to the process. Be patient and think how much of a surprise it will be when they start!

Just wanted to update anyone who replied to me... we got our first egg yesterday! It wasn't there early in the morning before work but was there by evening. I've already checked this morning and no eggs yet, so I'm thinking supplemental lighting will be more important than I originally thought/planned. Thanks for all the advice. Oh... I don't know which chicken laid it but all four are 29 weeks. Finally.....
