25 Guinea Eggs in the Bator - Final Photos - 8 hatched

I recieved a box of guinea eggs from GuineaLady this morning.

She sent me 12 pearl and 12 lavendar eggs.

I am adding 1 egg I collected last night from the goat yard from our own guineas.

The eggs go in the bator this evening. Wish me luck!

April 24 is day 1. Hatch due (day 28) - May 22.

Guinea eggs don't look like chicken eggs.

I have guinea eggs in one, chicken eggs in the 2nd and duck eggs in the 3rd.

I also have about 2 dozen guinea eggs in the bator!! We got some from a neighbor, and collected some here...
I waited for the apropriate days... and added some chicken eggs...round ones my husband wanted to see if that old timer was right about round eggs being hens....
My luck it will be all roosters!! only 8 chicken eggs, the guinea eggs are very different from chicken eggs. the first time my husband collected them, they are always in with the chicken nesting boxes....
he thought it was a bannie egg!
So... we should have keets in a few weeks!!!
