26 week old Standard Cochins (still no eggs)

Ok now I am beginning to feel like my little chickies are never gonna lay eggs. I have waited patiently and still no eggs. I think I might try that squeezing thing and see if it works for me.

Cochins can be late bloomers. My Buff Brahma, also a breed known for late maturity, just laid her very first egg today at almost 30 weeks old, so hang on!

Thanks Speckled hen for the encouragement. But, are ya positive squeezing won't help??

LOL, not too hard, though! I picked up my sweet Caroline every day lately and said, "Honey, you know you gotta lay an egg sometime for Mama!". She held out till a cooler day, though.
