Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
Hi! My family and I just welcomed 27 chicks to their new coop last week. 26 Buff Orphington's (supposed to be all pullets) and on e"exotic bird, which is likely a boy. All is going really well, no problems at all. I've been doing a lot of reading and researching and look forward to spending more time here. I'm glad that I found this forum!
