My White Silkie has been acting broody for days. I decided this morning I would sneak 18 day INCUBATED eggs under her. As she has been hijacking other nest boxes, I figured I'd give her a chance to have her own. She completely accepted said eggs, tucking them under her immediately and growled when I would get close to her. Hmmm...now I'm wondering if she will be confused if/when they hatch in 3 days!!! And if she will accept the chicks when they do hatch?
Aaaagghhh the uncertainty of it all!!!
