UPDATE!!!

One is hatched...one is piped...MOM IS FREAKING OUT HERE!!!

Its shirping like crazy! Dogs are going nuts!

My new babies have been in their coop for almost a full week now. I too was up the first few nights checking on them making sure they were ok. All is still good.

I would have never guessed, but chickens are really interesting animals.

I will not repeat this procedure in the future! I had a kink in my neck and sleep deprivation for at least 4 days following the fiasco. Next time I'll just go inside the coop with them, much quieter!
