2nd roost thoughts

Needing y'all's advice:
Based on the great articles and the forums here, I know that my current roost and nesting box are big enough for my flock. But, I was considering the idea of building another smaller roost-only within the run. What is everyone's thoughts on this idea?

What's the purpose of the 2nd roost? Having a roost in the run is something they will enjoy during the day. They may also spend nights there if it's higher than their current roost.

Comfort at night. I don't really know. I might just be looking for a new project. Is it ok to have to separate roosts and 1 nesting box?
