3/4 Silver laced Wyandotte 1/4 mystery chicks

i have four of this mix and 2 that look like this. I think cockerel when I look at it. What do you all think? Hatch date of Sep 1

that comb color and develop at such a young age makes me think cockerel as well.

Mama hen is a little protective to say the least. I got a couple pictures. The brown and black chicks are from the same flock of Wyandotte mixes so I have been comparing them to the black and white chicks. They seem to have dark comb areas and little to no wattles. The white spotted maran chicks seem to have yellow to a more reddish single comb.

Yes, those two are looking like Roos. Looks like some of the white ones to, perhaps.

Yah that’s what I was thinking too. I am sad the flashy color ones are Roos. Ah well. I am pretty sure there are 3 hens and 4 Roos then. Thanks for looking!

That much red at this age is a good indicator of being a cockerel.
