I got her/him at 2 days old. Was all black, tiny spot on head, black legs, and had 2 layers of wing feathers, said she was sexed in the egg as a pullet. By a week was showing more white as feathers grew in. Now 3. 5 weeks old will be 4 on Tuesday, and now scared I have a roo. The legs are still dark, same size as my others, but this comb is growing. I was supposed to get 2 BR pullets in March from the tractor store they both were boys. So I tried again from a company who swears they are all sexed before hatch and that they only sold pullets. I loved my BR roos but had to give them up as I cant have them. Do I now have another roo? Maybe this breed is not good luck for me.....
