I keep the broody breaker crate in the coop or run, never had trouble with 'reintegration'.

Based on your previous advice I did the same and when I let Cordon out this afternoon she went right back to interacting with the flock as normal.

Ha, I'm joking of course, lol.
I had a injured hen in a crate in the run until she healed. Think it was 6 days. She immediately got attacked unmercifully in less than 30 minutes. Didn't think she would make it. I could have culled her, but what better excuse to expand and build a second coop and give her some company of 5 pullets that she excepted without incident.
