My Button Quail hen gave me a surprise clutch, but I do not have room for any more quail at this point.
2 of the chicks are a Wild type and 1 is a Silver.
Please note that they are day old chicks and WILL need a heat lamp and a care giver who knows how to handle day old chicks.
Button quail reach full size in about 2 months and are about 3-4 inches long. They prefer to walk on the ground so do not use wire bedding as it may hurt them or get them stuck.
I WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH A 2 WEEK SUPPLY OF CHICK STARTER MASH WITH THE CHICKS.
I WILL PROVIDE A CARE SHEET JUST IN CASE YOU ARE NEW TO BUTTON QUAIL.
I WILL NOT PROVIDE A HEAT LAMP OR A BROODER.
I WILL NOT PROVIDE A FEEDER OR WATERER FOR THE CHICKS.
Feed them the starter mash for a month and then start feeding them Gamebird Crumble. They will no longer need a heat lamp after 3 weeks. (Do not overheat the chicks. 95°F the first week, 90°F the second, and 85°F the third.)
