3 chickens on eachother

3 of my HENS were laying so close 2 heads were not showing lol!

I recently found three of them in one 18" x 21" nest box. Two were sitting beak to tail and the third one sat on top of the other two. Somehow all three eggs made it safely into the hay under them. Go figure. Roosters I understand, hens I don't think I'll ever figure out.
