I purchased these 3 babies from a local feed store and they are suppose to be 2 Easter Eggers and 1 red sex link. They did say it was a guarantee they would be all hens. However, I’m starting to get nervous lol #1 & #2 are becoming very aggressive towards me when I open the coop door are they giving roo vibes? #2 seems to be growing small wattles. #1 & #2 are the tallest. I’m not sure how old they could be… 3 weeks possibly 4?
They told me they came from a hatchery. First time raising chicks.

Are you hand feeding? Some say it isn't an issue, but my first four that I hand raised were brats because I didn't set boundaries when they were little. You can still love on them and spend time just hanging out, I just wouldn't recommend hand feeding in particular. Mine started pecking at my hands when I didn't come bearing treats, not hard or trying to do damage, but it would get a bit rough as they got older.

I don't see any thing that indicates cockerels at the moment. It could take at least a couple more weeks to be sure they're pullets though.

Behavior at this age isn’t really a great indicator. I do not see any wattles on any of them yet. It’s really to early to say yet. At about the 8 week old mark, repost here and you will likely get a clearer answer.

Updated pictures. Any look like roos? #2 has started acting very aggressive and #4 and #2 seem to fight a lot 😅 hoping no Roos. I hope the pictures are clear enough. They are sooo fast.

Is #4 a recently introduced bird? That could be the cause of the fighting. I'm not seeing anything that I would say is definitely a cockerel however.

Not new, I just didn’t post “her” because I purchased her from a breeder she’s suppose to be a moss egger. But the lady guaranteed her to be a pullet but as she’s growing she looks more like a roo to me but what do I know 😅 thanks for the reply!

I do agree with you that she looks a little roo-ish out of all of them.. but it's still a little early and nothing is super obvious so there's a good chance that you have all hens! Good luck!

How old are they?
I don’t know their exact hatch day but when we purchased #s 1,2 and 3 was May 3rd and the lady said they were roughly about 2-5 days old. So they should be roughly 7-8 weeks old.
However, the moss egger #4 “she” was already 4 weeks old supposedly on May 3rd. She hasn’t grown much as the others have already caught up to her size very quickly. I don’t know her exact hatch day. So that would bring her to about 11 weeks old now.
