I have 3 brabanter chicks who made it out of 12 eggs..it was a rough hatch and I lost one chick the day after.
All 3 are eating and drinking, and seem perky but at least two have clear poop with brown bits in it.
I have been cleaning them due to pasty butt as needed but I want to know if this clear poo is normal.
I have probiotics and electrolytes in their water ( not sure if this maters)
Not on medicated feed.
Id say the poo is 80% clear 20% brown.
I didnt think to get a pic when we had them out but I will be cleaning the brooder tonight and see If I can.
Thank you
Edit I was wrong they are 6 days old
