Hey guys. I have an issue. I have two guinea fowl chicks at the moment who've been incubated by a chicken. They hatched fine, and the first two days have been great. But just now I looked at them, and both have a yellow discharge around the eyes. They seem relatively okay otherwise, eating and drinking normally and making noise as normal. But their eyes are definitely not normal, and I'm quite worried about them. Does anyone here have advice on what could be wrong with them?

The one thing I wld be concerned abt is that it's a respiratory ailment and the eyes merely a symptom of. If you look in the Emergency/ailment section you may find more helpful information, even if it's a thread abt other type of bird. If not, you can also ask there.
Keets are very fragile until they are older. Temp fluctuations & drafts, dampness, can lead quickly to illness.

Fortunately, I've discovered the issue. It's not actually an illness. It's dust from the wood shavings we were keeping them in. This has never been a problem before, but apparently this hen is an absolute inveterate floor-scratcher and kicked up so much of the stuff searching for food that the dust went in her chicks eyes. I cleaned them out with distilled water and switched their bedding to dry grass, and everything has been fine since.
