3 ducks last night! Now my Hershey is gone

do you have a camcorder you can hide some were? you maybe could borow one from a friend or famly member? it might take a few trys to catch them but its cheaper then a servailence camra. one of my friend's dad did that a long time ago to catch a person who was stealing their mail and it worked! it also worked when some one kept vandalizing there property. he just had a cheap one that he got used at a thrift store for $10. you can hid it outside or even lay in wait with it in the house and RECORD them in the act before you confrunt them.

None of my friends or family have camcorders, I've asked. Next time I go to the pawnshop to make a sewing machine payment I'll check in there, I just can't afford it right now though. Yes it is very upsetting and I just hope Hershey and Twinkie are safe for now and my roos I have left. It had been a couple of weeks or so since the last disappearance.

you might ask if the pawn shops might take a deposit and then return it > tell them you situation , they may be ok with renting it to you.

I was with students all day at a Girl's Can event, but Monday I'll be visiting a couple to check prices on cameras. It so depressing now, I only have one egg-laying hen, Hershey my female Runner. I miss my quackers, they've always been my favorites even though I love my chickens.

Everyone was fine at midnight when I checked on them, at feeding Hershey Duck was gone. Twinkie is broken hearted looking for her.

Why!? Why are people helping themselves to your chickens and ducks? How close to the border are you Writer of Words?

I just went and got her eggs out of her nest and I'm going to try and incubate them. I don't know why I've been targeted other than it's easy because there is no one close by me that can see what's going on, and my birds are so used to humans they don't get upset when one is around. I'm still setting the dog trap just in case, but the trap is never sprung and the food is never gone from it.
