I have (3) Blue/Black Ameraucana cockarels that I want to give free to a good home. I bought some beautiful blue eggs from BYC member 'Sebrightmom' and our broody hen hatched and raised them. Now I have 3 young roos who are finding their voices and I can not keep them in the San Diego city limits. I have an ad on 'craigslist' where I am selling them for $5 ea. but my daughter says she would feel better if someone on BYC took them home! I have raised chickens in my backyard flock for 2 years now and have never had any diseases. These chicks were hatched May 4th and were on a medicated chick feed and then went onto a growers feed.
