I have 3 pullets and 1 roo. Is that going to be too few hens for him? I don't mind sending him to the dinner table, but he's fairly sweet thus far and very pretty.

Follow up question. At how old do the start making themselves a nuisance? Obviously I'll see signs, but he's about 9/10 weeks old now.

I meant a nuisance as far as towards the hens. I'm not bothered by rooster behavior :-) thanks for your input!

I'm reading about other small rooster to hen ratio situations and there are some accounts of the roosters killing the hens. Is that a likelihood? When should I seperate them? I'm hoping to keep him at least until he's big enough to eat.

It may be possible but I've never had that problem.
That would likely be a small frail hen/pullet and a big rooster.
I have had 4 or 5 roosters tag team a pullet when intervention is necessary.
