3 Month old Calm Sweet Cockeral

He is a mix between my Australorp roo (very calm and sweet) and one of my hens in the broody coop.

He was a surprise - the hen hid his egg very well. He is a big boy already. In the picture with him is an Australorp pullet of the same age and a silkie of the same age. He towers over his silkie hatchmates, but is very gentle.

He is so calm and laid back and all the girls in the run with him, love him. He doesn't fight with the other boys. I would like to see him go to a good home.

The boy has a few feathers on his feet, but not many. He crowed for the first time today. Too funny.
