3 month old chicks still crowding momma in the nest.

She tolerates them but gets overheated with them in there on top of her. 2 Cockrell are already mounting her. Should I separate them or let her figure it out?

Yes, she has been sitting again. With that much access to the nest it's possible for them to hurt the hatchlings, huh?
I'm glad I asked this.
I don't think the little silkies will hurt them but definitely the two big Cockrell.

Does anyone have a suggestion what to do with so many Cockrells? Or suggestions on how to prevent them? Probably not since egg sexing didn't seem to work.
I'm open-minded. I'm not sure I'm ready to cull, pluck, and clean them, but I have heard 6 months is the best age for that.
