i’m 99.9% positive she’s a pullet.
grey feet and no feathered feet.
she is very curious and doesn’t mind me being around her.
she’s pretty decent sized for 3 months old.
any guesses?
she also has a bit of copper flecking in her neck feathers.

She looks like a Sapphire Gem to me but that doesn't account for the copper neck feathers. And I agree she's a pullet. Maybe @MysteryChicken can shed some light here.
Could be a RIB(Rhode Island Blue), or Blue Copper Marans(Clean Legged).

so… i have contacted the hatchery that she came from and they told me they don’t offer Sapphire Gems.
she was tossed in with Black Australorps but, my keen eye caught the grayish undertone in her down so, i snagged her and brought her home!
she is very friendly and stares at me constantly.
she has greenish/yellow eggs.
when she lays her first eggs, i’ll keep you posted on the color — as that should tell us more.
if she’s an Olive Egger, she looks nothing like my F1 flock… which i know she could be a different mix.
the copper flecking is what’s throwing me for a loop!!!

i read that clean legged Blue Copper Marans aren’t common… i bought what was supposed to be a Blue Cuckoo Maran from the same place and their coloring is not the same — the Cuckoo Maran is lighter than the mystery chicken — i also understand that mixups happen often!
as for being a RIB, do they have copper flecking?

Blue Copper, not Blue Cuckoo. She's got pink foot bottoms.

RIBs are a cross between Rhode Island Red, & Blue Australorp. Yes they get red leakage in neck, & sometimes in the breast.
