3 month old single hen and three day old chicks

I have a single hen, hasn't started to lay eggs. Picked up three little Easter Eggers (same breed as the hen) yesterday. Although they are in the brooder, she free ranges and spends lots of time checking in on them. Wondering if it is safe to put them in the coop with her, or should I do a trial run during the day with all of them?

Hi, I would give them a trial run during the day when you are watching so you can intervene if necessary.
