I feel like this is a long shot, but does anyone want some roosters? We have been told they are Black Australorps, but they arrived on our property in January as strays so we have no definite idea how old they are or where they came from.

These guys are healthy, active, and not aggressive to humans. They'll eat snacks right out of my hand. However, while they haven't FOUGHT each other, they have been puffing up at each other a bit. We're rehoming them because we don't need four roosters, only the one. I understand that if we rehome them they might go on to become a meal, but I'd like them to be well taken care of until then.

One is black with red neck feathers and greenish tail feathers, but I don't have a great picture of him yet. The other two are these grey/black ones in the picture here.
***EDIT: I do have a picture of the black and red one. He's now my profile picture.

If you're relatively nearby we can either meet you at a third party location for a handoff or deliver them to you. Just reply to this post and I'll get an email notification and work out details from there.

Beautiful roosters. They're probably at about to crow or just starting to crow age. Maybe 4-6 months old? Sorry that I can't take them though. They're cute! :love
Have you considered trying Craigslist? If not, but would like to try, here's an article that might be able to help you out :D: https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/how-to-post-on-craigslist.76257/
Hi, thank you for the article! Sorry, I didn't update this posting with the news. We were able to get them a new home at another local farm via Craigslist this past weekend. And you're right, they were right at crowing age... which they all did in a beautiful three-part harmony in our back seat as we were taking them to give to their new owners at dawn. 😅 They were very cute, very sweet boys and we were all sorry to see them go, but our remaining rooster and our hens are doing a lot better without three rambunctious teen roos underfoot.

Ok, good! I'm glad that you found them a good home! That's funny how they were doing a three-part harmony. I love hearing roosters crow, and when there's several crowing, it's even better! I'm glad that your hens are doing better too. :)
