I adopted 5 young chickies when they became too much for the kindergarten class at school. Turns out three are roos. One Barred Rock, one Black Copper Maran (I think), one Welsummer (or some such similar breed). See photos. Tough to get them alone, they hang out together. Best guess is 12 to 16 weeks old.
I cannot keep them as my home is also a B&B and some of my overnight guests are overwhelmed by the charm of crowing in the morning. It seems they would sometimes like to sleep in.
Unfortunately for the boys my business must come first and so, here we are.
I am located one mile from the Miller Ferry dock in Catawba Island Township, OH. I am willing, if and when my schedule permits in the next week or two, to deliver the rooster(s) or meet anyone who would like to adopt them. I'm forced to keep my distance traveled to 30-40 minutes as I'm super busy from here on out.
