can anyone tell me why do they crow? Is it a king of the hill thing or are they crowing with each other. Like I said 3 roos , 2 crow more than they breathe is it normal. I live in a rural area or I would have already gotten rid of the 2 that crow all day .

Roosters crow to show they are there and they are the head of the flock

Roosters crow to claim land,basically how a dog will pee to claim it’s territory,roosters will crow.Also a noise used for competition.

When they are startled
To establish vocal dominance
Perhaps to attract hens
And to show that he is the boss
