Is it possible to start telling male vs female to a select few at this age? Peking 3 weeks and magpies 2 weeks.. Just heard a quack from one and a couple others I’ve heard a low raspy bug sound.. if that makes sense.. I know voices will change over time, I’m just curious on others experiences.

Female ducklings can start "quacking" anywhere between 2 and 8 weeks, so it's a real possibility the one could be female. It's been a long time since I've had ducklings, but I remember being able to guess their sexes pretty early, probably around 3-4 weeks I had most of them figured out. A few were late bloomers. When it comes to babies, anything is possible!

We bought 2 ducks in March, one didn’t make it so we ordered 5 more pekins and then also I found someone nearby selling the magpie eggs. The voice changes are real now we have this large group just chirping/quacking/bugging? The quack does sound very close to the original pekin.. which is very much a quack..
