3 week black copper marans Sexing?

3wk FBCM. I know it’s early but have heard many things about tell signs that show early in some breeds, anyone have guess as to whether this lil chick is a roo or a pullet? comb very yellow. Wattles light pink. Staring chest bump/flight. I’m leaning male but this is my first FBCM.

I really wouldn't start leaning at 3 weeks.... My FBCM Hen was the fastest to develop and had many cockerel traits, big red floppy comb and big feathery canckles! She is huge and you can hear her thud, thud, thud down the coop hall, haha. She's awesome!

Too early to tell but you should know by 5-6 weeks of age. Marans comb up early.

You will love them! I have one as well, but she is quite small for a Marans. She does lay huge dark brown eggs that are often 80 g in size!

This Is the only FBCM that made it to hatch so I will definitely wait. Came from a dark egg too. No copper colors in the wings either. Mainly chest bumps with a lil roo wheaten marans. I do have pullets coming from Meyer hatchery, a black copper marans, a blue copper marans and barnevelder so with any luck I’ll have two FBCM. . Right now we have all bantams and just started our LF Ameraucan/Marans hen house (with the exception of the barnevelder )
