Have you thought buuuut doing surgrey to see what it is? I know some people dont have strong stomachs but that's whhgjghat I would do lol

Well, I'm one of those people that won't do surgery on a fully awake animal like that. Also, I think that would be risky because I really don't know what it is for certain. It's not causing my girl any problems so there's no need to start cutting on her. However, I have thought about seeing if I could get fluid out of it with a needle syringe. But I still go back to not knowing what it is and not wanting to cause problems, and if it's not causing her problems then I don't want to do anything unnecessary. Thanks for the idea though

As long as she acts healthy and does no seem compromised in any way, I would not mess with it. She might be able to live many happy years having this bulge on her butt, and messing with it just out of curiosity could cause infection or worse.

By the time she quits, which hopefully will be several years onwards still, there will be lots of opportunity for "investigation".
