??????

Question why since I have had them together since I got them the 4 of them . I have always had 2 pair now when I put them into the big pond with the sebbies is the female not staying the her mate and why is her mate not caring about her... The sebbies pick on her...?????
Do Dewlaps need to be kept separate from everything else...????Do Dewlaps need water to breed?????

Dewlap is a feature of some heavy breeds they are not a breed by themselves.
You say you had two pairs, were the birds actually 2 pair? gander+goose or is that just the way you thought of them.
It is always a good idea to keep breeds seperated during mating season if you don't want mutts(crossbreeds)
If you want one gander to mate with 1 goose seperate them in a pen of their own. when flock mating one or more birds are often left out as the dominate gander will claim the females he wants (sometimes all) and the other gander is allowed to mate with the leftovers if he wants. Love can suck!
Your lonly female is the low bird on the pecking order and the "sebbies" are making sure that she knows it.
Water makes it easier for heavy geese to breed but most can manage the deed on dry land.
See much easier if you ask what you want to know.
