Added four new four month old poults to the flock on sunday. so far no pecking or fights. the young ones are so afraid. they keep hiding in the smallest places. all the girls got loose last night. everyone made it back safely.

Don't you love it when integration goes smoothly? I just integrated 9 new ducklings with my duck and goose. I was very worried about the goose killing the newbies. She hated them at first and did try to attack them through the fencing, but after a few weeks she stopped paying attention to them. After about 3 weeks of "look but no touch" I pulled the fence. Not a single problem. It's like they've always been together.

I love it when things go according to plan.
