I know it’s really young still, but......
Does this Turken look like it might be a roo?

I’m really hoping for a boy! My first batch of chicks this spring we’re all females. This next batch again is (supposedly) female heavy. I’d really love at least one rooster!

It's hard to say for sure this young, but that little comb looks roostery to me. It's not really red tho, but he/she is only 3 weeks old.

At this point I think all most of us can offer is an educated guess : cockerel

Yeah, I’m jumping the gun a little
I think it looks bigger and more pink then any chicks I’ve had at this age. The other 3 turkens have small peach colored combs. I’m really, really hoping it’s a boy!
I appreciate the guess

Yes, I want a boy I want to hatch eggs next year and so far all I’ve gotten are girls! I know that’s not a bad thing, but how is that possible? Lol
My first 10 chicks were all girls. I made an online order before knowing I had all girls. So of my new order I select all female for my SLW and EE. Only my Turkens I selected a straight run. I’m not sure how well those two other breeds can be sexed at only a day old, but maybe I’ll still have a chance at having a couple roosters. I had two other breeds I ordered, but the hatchery sadly didn’t send them:/ they were going to be straight runs too

One of my older pullets pecked him through the fence But I think he’s turning out nicely

I haven’t heard any crowing attempts yet. I can’t wait till he does
